Our We Don’t Buy Crime towns and villages see us work with town and parish councils who invest in the initiative which sees them offer a free SmartWater marking kit to every resident in the area.
Signs are displayed throughout the We Don’t Buy Crime towns and villages letting criminals know that the area is protected by SmartWater to act as a deterrent to would-be thieves.
First introduced in 2015 the initiative has proved a success with academic research by the University of Warwick finding it has helped reduce crime and increased public confidence.
