We Don’t Buy Crime works closely with second-hand stores to help prevent the sale of stolen goods.
Retailers signed up to the scheme receive a free UV torch to help identify if an item they are being offered for sale has been property marked.
We also send them regular updates about stolen items so they know what to look out for.
If they have any suspicion at all the item has been stolen they will let us know so we can carry out enquiries.
