A key element of We Don’t Buy Crime is the range of covert tactics the team utilises to help catch criminals when they do commit crime.
We would never go into the full details of our covert tactics however they play an important role in our work to deter criminals. If they know we’re using methods that could ultimately lead to catching them they’re less likely to commit crime in the first place – and if they do commit crime our covert tactics will help us arrest them.
Criminals stealing from our communities are essentially playing jeopardy and are taking a risk the item they’re stealing is part of our covert assets.
